In some planets are found cairns, left by a hitherto unknown civilisation that humans nickname "Plumy". Some cairns are centuries old, others seem recent. Nothing else is known. The earthlings have been searing for the Plumie homeworld and quite by accident they encounter one of their ships in interplanetary space.  The Aliens was first published in Astounding Science Fiction August 1959. Total Running Time (TRT): 1 hour, 20 min. Murray Leinster (1896-1975) was a pen name of William Fitzgerald Jenkins, an award-winning American writer of science fiction and alternate history. He wrote and published over 1,500 short stories and articles, 14 movie scripts, and hundreds of radio scripts and television plays.
