Rafael Sabatini (1875 – 1950) was an Italian-English novelist and a short story writer. 'The Sea Hawk' (1915) is Sabatini’s worldwide bestseller, together with 'Captain Blood' (1922), 'Scaramouche' (1921) and 'Bellarion the Fortunate'(1926). By the year 1925 many of his books had been turned into movies and different plays.
