The Dissident Blog: Selections of texts 2011-13 e-bok

Provocative, disturbing, and courageous articles can be found on The Dissident Blog—Swedish PEN’s web publication of texts that totalitarian regimes would rather silence at the source. This anthology invites the reader to visit a Turkish prison cell, to share poetry from inside today’s Syria, to read about threats against the children of Russian dissidents, and to follow kidnapped Mexican journalists threatened by the drug cartels. The Dissident Blog grew out of anger and frustration. Today it has become an acclaimed international platform with readers in over eighty countries. The Dissident Blog is produced and published by Swedish PEN with the support of the Swedish Arts Council and the Swedish International Development Association (SIDA).
