Amir is terrified of falling down. But he is also afraid of the bullies. What will they do if they get hold of him? But soon the bullies get tired and climb down. It starts to blow more and Amir finds it difficult to hold on, high up in a birch. It sways badly. He calls for help. A man helps him climb down. But not long later he is chased by the bullies again.
