"Do you know what it means to be a patriot?" -Semera This book basically an action movie where modern combat meets fantasy! It's a more modern take on the fantasy genre. It is about a world transitioning from the medieval era to modern day! The book features gas masks, ghillie suits, grenade launchers, revolvers and nuclear weapons. It perfectly blends the modern and medieval settings to create something incredible. Sort of like the biopunk genre. To make it short it is basically a greek tragedy around war and revolution. The plot centres on a power struggle between the humans and elves. Things have turned sower as the king is dying and must be revived using the artifact. Our main protagonist: Theon Ranjoy must take back the artifact and save his kingdom. At the end he is thrust into a battle between 4 philosofical factions that represent self determination, war, subversion, protecting your way of life and national security. In which you have to deside who is right or wrong. I hope you had as much fun reading it as I had making it! The Action and passing: I will give you a piece of the text to give you an idea for what reading the book is like: *click* *click* *click* *click *click* *click*… *click* The chambers locked into place as Shepherd heightened his revolver towards Theon. “hm, I didn't think it would end this way…” His look changed as he pulled the revolver back by a bit. “You saw them didn't you?” The screaming baby and mother appeared in Theon's mind. “My wife and daughter murdered in cold blood.” *tttsss* Shepherd pulled out his cigar. “Just as my men on the battlefield.” *sigh* Theon began to pull the knife out of his body. “Do you know why I smoke this?” “To help me forget the pain of that day.” “My life has been consumed by nothing but absolute loss. Then and only then will you understand what it’s like to be me!” “The end of the empires will mean the end of the wars. That day the screams of the dead shall end.” “I KNOW YOU UNDERSTAND!” *VOCH* The knife spun around as Theon throwed it towards Shepherd. “GHA” Blood ejected meters into the sky as it pierced through Shepherd's eye.
