“Trained killers, aren’t they…?”
“Of course they are, honey. You know, those proverbial enforcers, destined to roam the earth and act like animals, ‘so the rest of us can sleep at night?’”
Charmed and thrashing by turns, whole destinies become interlocked over three continents.
Three women contemplate the unthinkable on trans-Atlantic phone calls. The worst thing to happen demands ever more desperate solutions.
Pazsch, phenom. An incendiary hip-hop rapper without borders insists on rounding up his goodbye tour at a famous soccer venue in election-torn Brazil.
Hans J juggles high national responsibility and an edgy, grey-zone existence. A finely honed instrument for those nebulous people who melt into the background, but manage to tweak events their way. Who’s in charge? It would not be the first time a quasi-military unit did not ultimately report to someone elected by Nordic citizens.
Pascal – A serene and dreamy five-year-old on his longest holiday ever, transported to eastern Europe.
Gone. Just gone. No little boy-body to hug and hold onto.
