A fart never hurt anyone. At least not until Fred the hippo starts sending one fart after the other into the jungle, which causes great distress to Fred's rather cross aunt. Jan Mogensen is a Danish illustrator and author who has mainly illustrated books for children and young people. Driven by a passion for presenting alternatives to the social realism that characterised children's literature, his own experience as a father inspired him to create captivating worlds for young readers.
