THE LAST DAY SHIFT shows the everyday life of the Stockholm police force, in a reality where strange creatures are as real as people, and follows Andreas in a double journey of evolution, where he on one hand just wants to fulfil his dream of becoming a police officer - on the other hand, he is turning into a vampire. In the background, the Police Authority has to deal with the sudden death of its most senior commissioner, while Andreas fights a different kind of demons in his personal life.
