Today they will learn about her life during the war, before she came to Sweden. This is the true story of Hella, a Polish girl who was captured by the Nazis and sent to a concentration camp. Helena "Hella" Glowacki (later Karlsson) survived the Holocaust and came to Sweden after the Second World War. She lived to be ninety-three years old (1923-2017) and often shared her experiences. This story is written by Hella's granddaughter, Annelie, to pass on her history and remember what happened.
